The Match Museum is a private Russian museum in Lyubertsy dedicated to match boxes and labels. As of 2021, the exposition includes more than 550,000 items, dating from the late 19th century to the present.
The idea of creating the museum belongs to its head - phillumenist, member of the Board of the Moscow club of philumenists “Souvenir” and member of the Interregional Society of collectors of match labels and boxes Bogdan Aleksandrovich Semeno.
In 2016, LLC "SF" MUSEUM OF MATCHES" was registered and a room in the city of Lyubertsy was equipped for collecting, storing and studying products of match-label production.
The museum's exposition includes more than 550,000 items, including about 3,000 souvenir sets, more than 50,000 single matchboxes and more than 500,000 match labels dating from the late 19th century to the present.
The museum houses the world's largest collection of Soviet match sets.
