Kozyr Victor 030 Greetings to all exhibitors.
My name is Victor Kozyr (in the US, I'd be called Victor Trump). I live in Russia, in the Altai region. I've been collecting matchbox labels since 1987. I'm currently a member of the Moscow Philumenist Club "Souvenir."

About the exhibition theme: The third decade of the last century began extremely difficult for the young Soviet Republic. The consequences of World War I faded into the background amid civil war, the intervention of the Entente troops, famine, a typhus epidemic, and a general economic crisis. Match production, compared to other industries, recovered more quickly. By 1930, the Soviet Union, with its partially restored industry, not only met domestic needs but also exported matches to more than 15 countries.
