I am Ismail Hossain Selim, 71 years old. Even starting with postage stamps, I could never settle on one subject. Always thinking of collecting something new or different. As a result my collection has changed. Matchbox never attracted me. But in 2019, I have been collecting matchboxrs. I have never imagined the world of matchbox to be so vast, diverse and friendly. Currently my collection includes 4000 matchboxes and labels of various types, shapes and sizes from 110 countries. But the problem is collecting the old matchboxes or labels of Bangladesh. They are now so scarce that it has become a great hindrance to me. So I had to think of something different and from this thought I decided to collect the labels of the old matchbox of Bangladesh. Besides collecting, another hobby of mine since childhood is drawing. This is going to be my 3rd International online matchbox & label exhibition. Last two exhibition organized by Bangladesh matchbox collectors club BMCC. I am going to exhivit some old Bangladeshi matchbox label drawn by me.
