I started collecting matchboxes about 15 years ago. It was my son, Siddharth, who initially started collecting matchboxes. However, as he got busy with his profession, I took over his collection. I have a collection of more than 50,000 unique matchboxes of various shapes and sizes from all over the world. I have held 5 exhibitions in various cities in India. Encouraging new and young collectors is my main aim of holding exhibitions of my collection. Looking forward to see the collection of Phillumenists from all over the world.
