In 1923, civil aviation appeared in the USSR. In the same year, due to the political crisis with Great Britain, an airplane appeared on matchboxes. The political crisis was resolved, but the plane remained on matchboxes. Now the AVION biplane on matchboxes is the most popular Russian brand on matches. I would like to share my collection of biplanes from different years. Starting in 1923 and ending in 2023. The plane should be in the sky. That's why my photos of matchboxes in flight!
