Greetings from Turkey, my name is Haluk Sağlamtimur. I am currently working as a Professor at the Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Letters, Izmir-Ege University, Türkiye. I've been collecting matchboxes for nearly 50 years. There are around 27,000 matchboxes from Turkey and other countries in my collection. A doctoral thesis was made on my match collection in our country. I have also written many articles about the different matchboxes in the collection. I am happy to participate in this international online exhibition for the 5th time.
